High-Performance Computing (HPC) is a critical enabler of today’s digitalized society. As we are navigating the “Roaring 20s” of computing, this symposium will explore the rapidly evolving landscape of HPC.
Join us for inspiring talks and engaging discussions on the breakthroughs, challenges, and opportunities that will shape the future—and success—of HPC in the years to come.
This symposium is sponsored by the Department of Computer Science of VU Amsterdam and by the Advanced School for Computing and Imaging (ASCI) school as part of the events to honor Prof. Bal’s retirement.
Organizers: Tiziano De Matteis (VU Amsterdam) , Cees De Laat (UvA), Rob van Nieuwpoort (Leiden University).
Details and Program
The event will be structured around four themes (HPC 4 eScience, HPC & Sustainability, HPC & Performance, and HPC 4 AI), featuring keynotes and panel discussions, with a final keynote closing the day.
